Deliverable 1.8 - Innovation pathways of SMEs in traditional sectors (30th November 2011)

This document (10 pages) profiles and analyses the innovation pathways and policy challenges at the regional level that may affect the competitiveness of traditional sectors SMEs. The analysis includes the main pathways for innovation in SMEs in traditional sectors, their needs, barriers and absorptive capacity.

From the responses to the GPrix survey and the subsequent 61 case studies, the GPrix consortium was able to analyse the innovation pathways of the SMEs in traditional sectors and to understand what is hampering their innovation efforts.
