- disseminate some of the project findings to stakeholders in the West Midlands, including SMEs, Chambers of Commerce and Trade Associations;
- validate findings and recommendations by inviting comments, criticisms and suggestions from the stakeholders in attendance.

MaPEeR SME will present the project's results and the European Experts' Panel recommendations to enhance the aprticipation of SMEs in RTDI programmes at a two day SME conference.
The event will include the 'MaPEeR European Experts' Panel on Research by SMEs (EEP-SME)' (5 October) and a conference on 'Making Progress and Economic Enhancement a Reality for SMEs: New Approaches Towards RTDI Programmes' (6 October). The sessions are hosted at the Committee of Regions (101 Rue Belliard, B-1040 Brussels, Belgium).
The latter session includes a presentation on and validation of the results of the GPrix project.
The event is also part of the European SME week 2011, a series of events to promote enterprise across Europe which will take place from 3-9 October in several different countries.
Participation both sessions is free of charge but registration by 20 September is necessary.

This is the 20th in a series of Annual Conferences supported by the European Commission, which regularly attracts over 650 delegates from leading commercial, government and research organisations around the world to share knowledge and experience, lessons learnt and good practice in the areas of e-Infrastructures, ICT for Networked Enterprise & RFID, e-Government & e-Democracy, e-Health, Collaborative Working Environments, Living Labs, Digital Libraries and Cultural Heritage, Technology Enhanced Learning, Intelligent Content & Semantics, High Performance Computing Applications, Security and Identity Management and Mobility. The goal of e-2010 is to stimulate rapid take-up of Research and Technology Development (RTD) results by industry and in particular SMEs, and help open up the European Research Area (ERA) to the rest of the world. GPrix partners held a workshop in the conference and there is a paper published out of the research work performed by the group.

Spanish Joint Workshop MAPEER-GPrix: HIGH LEVEL EXPERTS MEETING Analysis of the Innovation and R&D support measures for SMEs of the Comunidad Valenciana, 15 April 2010, Valencia, Spain.
In the context of the MAPEER SME and GPrix FP7 projects, Rose Vision and UPVLC have jointly organized a high level experts meeting to analyze the support measures to research, development and innovation for SMEs in Valencia. In this forum, experts representing different public entities as IMPIVA, Commerce Chamber (La Cámara) or local government(Generalitat Valenciana) talked about the existing support measures with representatives of valencian SMEs. As a result of this event the organizers drew conclusions and recommendations on how to consolidate the role of SMEs in the regional, national and also European research programs.
CERÁMICA INNOVA. II Technology-Business Brokerage Event inside the International Ceramics Fair (CEVISAMA), 10-12 February 2010, Valencia, Spain
UPVLC, Spanish partner of GPrix, participated in this event with a short introductory presentation in the TECHNOLOGY SHOWCASE where the program was introduced to the general public. During the TECHNOLOGY – INDUSTRIAL MEETINGS several SMEs in the traditional sector of ceramics were approached in order to explain the project in detail and ask their future cooperation and participation.
